Seminars and Educational Opportunities

Jay speaks on the fourth Friday of each month at the Erlanger Healthlink office at Northgate Mall. The topic is elder law, but many guests come with questions off topic. The session has really developed in to a 1.5 hour question and answer time rather than a lecture. The guests get more out of their time and the speaker enjoys a break from a set presentation.

In addition, Jay has spoken to numerous local churches on topics from Wills and Trusts to planning for long term care. Most recently, he spoke to a group at Apison United Methodist Church who had just completed a 10 week financial security study and wanted to study in depth on planning for death and disability.

With the Terri Schiavo case in the news so much, the topic of Living Wills and Healthcare powers of attorney are frequent topics of discussion. Please give Jay, or his assistant, Michelle, a call to schedule a seminar at your church or institution.
